Current economic and geo-political crises have challenged network operators to build robust networks, avoiding dependencies on component manufacturers. The simultaneous unavailability of multiple network components from a single manufacturer can lead to drastic downtimes, high monetary losses, and security concerns due to connectivity disruptions. Network sovereignty is an operator’s ability to orchestrate a network without any dependencies on the manufacturers of the network components. In this demonstration, we show the importance of appropriately choosing the component manufacturers and placing them in the network by showing the impact of manufacturer(s) failing in the network. We propose a minimal cut set-based heuristic for sovereign manufacturer assignment and compare it with centrality metrics-based heuristics. Our Graphical User Interface (GUI) demo presents the results and visually helps network operators make sovereign manufacturer assignments.     «
