Abstract:: Android is a target of software piracy. Application stores are trying to counteract piracy attempts by providing license verification libraries but even those do not stop theft of intellectual property. The scope of this paper is to present different attack methods. Insights to the attacks can be used to create countermeasures that are addressed shortly, while presenting their details in a different paper (available at this conference) instead.
