Abstract:
The Maxwell–Lindblad transmission line (MLT) equations are introduced as a model for hybrid photonic and microwave-electronic quantum devices. The hybrid concept has long enabled high-bandwidth photodetectors and modulators by using waveguide structures supporting microwave–optical co-propagation.
