SeisSol is a well-established software for simulation earthquake source dynamics and wave propagation. It makes use of the Arbitrary-DERivative Discontinuos Galerkin scheme to solve the elastic wave equation on unstructured tetrahedral grids. In recent years the development focused on viscoelastic materials and plasticity. In this talk we present the model extension to anisotropic elasticity and poroelasticity. For the anisotropic part we employ the well-known Cauchy-Kovalevski procedure to obtain time-derivatives from spatial derivatives. As the poroelastic equations contain a stiff source term, we introduce an element-local space-time predictor to solve the equations. This results in a right-upper block system of equations, which we solve with block-wise backsubstitution. Thus we can map the update scheme to a sequence of small matrix-matrix-multiplications, which are performed by optimized code generation. The accuracy of the proposed method is measured against community benchmark tests. We conclude the talk with scaling and performance results.     «
