Abstract:
This thesis contributes to the advancement of the technology for melt electrowriting (MEW) by presenting innovations from three perspectives, specifically i) hardware (filament-based print head, 5-axis kinematic system), ii) software (universal graphical Gcode generator, and iii) material functionality (microporous scaffolds, compliance by design, polymer composite with contrast agents) for applications in cardiovascular tissue engineering.

Diese Arbeit trägt zur Weiterentwicklung der Technologie des Melt Electrowriting (MEW) bei, indem sie Innovationen aus drei Blickwinkeln vorstellt: i) Hardware (filamentbasierter Druckkopf, 5-Achsen-Kinematik), ii) Software (universeller grafischer Gcode-Generator) und iii) Materialfunktionalität (mikroporöse Konstrukte, Compliance by Design, Polymerkomposit mit Kontrastmitteln) für Anwendungen im kardiovaskulären Tissue Engineering.
