The aim of this work is to allow the use of insulation and lining materials of cellulose and wood fibres in timber assemblies by a calculation model taking into account the requirements of the separating function. For this purpose, a consisting component additive method is expanded, based on fire tests and numerical simulations. The basis for determining the required equations is formed by temperature field calculations using the finite element method and the determination of the temperature-dependent material properties.
