In this study, the full Launder, Reece and Rodi pressure-strain model and nonlinear boundary damping functions were incorporated in OpenFOAM® to simulate the turbulence-driven secondary currents in supercritical narrow channel flows such as in sediment bypass tunnels (SBTs).
