Abstract:
We present a novel wall model for well resolved large-eddy simulation (LES) of complex flows. The model is based on a Taylor series expansion of the velocity and pressure profiles in wall-normal direc- tion. The derivatives are determined from the near- wall asymptotics of the Navier-Stokes equations.
