Precision Crop Farming

The English term "precision farming" has meanwhile firmly established itself in the German language. German translations such as "Präzise Landwirtschaft" (precision agriculture), "Präziser Ackerbau" (precision crop farming), "Präzisionslandwirtschaft" (precision agriculture) or "Rechnergestützte Landbewirtschaftung" (computer-aided farming) may be employed as synonyms, but they are not widely used. Given this terminological variety, it is not surprising that to date no widely accepted definition of the content of these terms is available.      «
