Abstract:
This paper presents a phenomenological and semi-empirical simulation model to predict the injection rate of a diesel solenoid valve injector based on few injection-quantity measurements and indications (EMI). The approached injection rate will be used as the input data for a subsequent model which simulates the rate of heat release (ROHR).
