The activity of the OpenFOAM community seems to be rapidly growing, yet a dedicated online home for the community is still missing. We are currently meeting in our favorite long-standing agorae, but could a modern cozy home bring essential new blood to the community? This talk summarizes the experience of tranfering the preCICE community to a new home (a Discourse-based forum), the benefits that this move brought, and why OpenFOAM should join many similar communities and found its own central agora.     «
