General-purpose optical accelerators (GOAs) have emerged as a promising platform to accelerate deep neural networks (DNNs) due to their low latency and energy consumption. Such an accelerator is usually composed of a given number of interleaving Mach-Zehnder-Interferometers (MZIs).
