Abstract:
In the past, several aging models for li-ion batteries have been provided in literature. Many of them can be divided into either semi-emprical or data-based approaches. Both model domains have their specific strength and weaknesses, whereby most of them are complementary. To overcome the deficiencies in state of the art aging modeling, the authors propose a new hybrid semi-empirical and data-based approach for state of health monitoring and aging prediction of li-ion battery packs.
