Abstract:
ExaHype2 is an open-source engine to solve hyperbolic partial differential equations. It is built on top of Peano 4, which provides the storage and traversal of the simulated domain in the form of a space tree. One of the most essential applications for ExaHype2 is the simulation of waves, which can be used for studying electromagnetism, earthquakes, and tsunamis.
