Autonomous service robots in real-world environments have to cope with several environmental impacts, e.g. noisy outdoor conditions. In order to overcome this bottleneck of speech recognition and to raise efficiency of information exchange between robots and humans, different dialog strategies are introduced to establish informational alignment between the interlocutors. Further, emotional alignment strategies are developed and incorporated in a persuasive behavior control model of a robotic system to proactively increase user acceptance and the willingness of humans to cooperate with a robot.
