In the framework of chiral pertubation theory we calculate crossections for meson-baryon-scattering and meson-photoproduction up to order q
2 and including p-waves, taking into account all rescattering processes with the help of a separable Lippmann-Schwinger-equation. The procedure was generalized including the eta' and the effects of the axial anomaly. We calculated the processes mentioned above up to order q
2 and including s-waves. Finaly we observed the possibility of handling the large eta' mass in a physically motivated way in U(3) chiral pertubation theory making use of infrared regularization.
