Bionic robots increasingly mimic the elastic motion dynamics of humans to reuse impact energy. This dissertation shows that a modular robotic controller optimally adapts the elastic motions under fast-changing conditions. By reversing the bionic method, a brain network with an analogous function is predicted and mathematically modeled. This neuronal model is validated in robot-guided motions of humans. Future applications are proposed that boost the motor performance of cutting-edge robots and paraplegic patients.
