- Kurzfassung:
- Intraoperative Information über die Tumorentität sind für die chirurgische Behandlung unbekannter Raumforderungen von größter Bedeutung. Die konfokale Laserendomikroskopie in Kombination mit Fluoreszenzmitteln bietet die Möglichkeit, Gewebe in bis subzelluläre Auflösung abzubilden und eignet sich daher für eine schnelle Diagnosefindung. Diese Pilotstudie demonstriert eine Gleichwertigkeit konventioneller Methoden und der konfokalen Ex-vivo-Laserendomikroskopie in der Neuropathologie.

- Intraoperative information about a tumor entity is of the utmost importance in the surgical treatment of unknown mass. Confocal laserendomicroscopy (CLE) combined with fluorescence agents offers the possibility of imaging of fresh tissues at cellular and subcellular resolution and therefore suitable for rapid clinical decision making. This pilotstudy demonstrates an equality of conventional methods and ex vivo CLE regarding diagnosis.
