This dissertation examines the use of digital media in informal learning contexts especially in STEM field and to what extent media can support informal learning in cognitive and motivational aspects based on a systematic literature review and a self-developed digital learning environment. Die Dissertation untersucht anhand eines systematischen Literaturreviews und einer selbstentwickelten digitalen Lernumgebung den Einsatz digitaler Medien in informellen Lernkontexten insbesondere im MINT-Bereich und inwieweit Medien informelles Lernen in kognitiver und motivationaler Hinsicht fördern können. Untersucht werden allgemeine Merkmale, lernrelevanten Funktionen und Lernergebnisse des Medieneinsatzes an institutionellen informellen Lernorten sowie die Wirkungen verschiedener Formen digitaler double-content Lösungsbeispielen.     «
