Protective Systems and Feeds in Fineblanking Presses

In contrast to the conventional stamping process the workpieces and waste initially remain in the tool space in fineblanking. They must be blown out or removed mechanically. To prevent foreign bodies in the tool space causing damage to the press or tool, installation of a mechanical probing table system or hydraulic ram sensing has proved to be the best solution. The feed system essentially determines the output of a press.
