Based on measurements, the fuel consumption and the detailed energy flow of the CVT-Hybrid are identified and analysed for standardised driving cycles. Therefore the structure of the power train and the operating behaviour as well as the configuration of the test rig and the test vehicle are explained. The background for energy balancing and key figures to characterise the CVT-Hybrid are presented; to compensate deviations from energetic boundary conditions of the measurements, a procedure is introduced.
