The mounting device is obtainable by incising fastening element blanks (4) into the surface of the metallic base plate (2) while leaving one connection edge (5) per blank (4) in such a way that they each have a web-shaped base area (6), which comprises the connection edge (5) on one end, and a head area (7) adjoining the base area, which projects laterally beyond the neighboring base area on at least one side. At least one partial area of the blanks (4) is bent out of the base plate around at least one bending edge located in the base area. The projecting edge of the head area adjoining the base area runs at an angle between 0° and 70° in relation to the plane of the base plate after the fastening elements are bent out of the base plate.
