Diese klinisch-radiologische Studie beobachtete prospektiv zwei Patientenkohorten über die Dauer von 27 Monaten. Durch zwei verschiedene Techniken der Rekonstruktion des Ligamentum patellofemorale mediale und weiterführender Operationsverfahren fand eine Stabilisierung des patellofemoralen Gelenks statt. Die erfassten mittelfristigen Ergebnisse dieser operativen Therapie wurden zwischen den relevanten Gruppen verglichen und anhand aktueller Literatur diskutiert.

This clinical-radiological study observed prospectively two patient cohorts over a period of 27 months. The patellofemoral joint was stabilized by using two different techniques for reconstruction of the medial patellofemoral ligament and secondary surgical procedures. The mid-term results of this surgical therapy were collected and a comparison within the relevant groups was performed. Furthermore the results were discussed on the basis of the current literature.
