The study includes the data of 426 patients. It analyses the reliability of the predicted histology of prostate cancer by prostate biopsy and other preoperative examinations. Gleason scores of prostate biopsy and radical prostatectomy specimen corresponded in 40%. In 36% an undergrading occurred. 19% of potential active surveillance patients showed extracapsular extension of prostate cancer in the radical prostatectomy specimen.
