In this thesis, a newly developed reconstruction algorithm for X-ray grating-based phase-contrast computed tomography is presented. Incorporating the statistical information of the raw measurements and based on iterative techniques, this new algorithm achieves a convincing increase in image quality even when applied on incomplete or noisy projection data, compared to conventional reconstruction algorithms. In addition, it is shown that this new algorithm allows for a significant reduction of artifacts specific to grating-based imaging.
