Abstract:
Diese Arbeit befasst sich mit der Herstellung eines Bauelements für effiziente Einzelphotonenerzeugung
bei der für die Telekommunikation wichtigen Wellenlängen von 1,3 µm und 1,55 µm. Dazu war die Entwicklung von Quantenpunkten auf InP-Basis nötig. Diese müssen in geringer Oberflächendichte vorliegen und bei diesen Wellenlängen emittieren.
Ebenso war für eine hohe Effizienz die Entwicklung eines Herstellungsprozesses für photonische Kristalle auf diesem Materialsystem erforderlich.

This research deals with the fabrication of a single photon emitting device at the telecommunication
relevant wavelength regimes of 1.3 and 1.55 µm. To realize that, the growth of quantum dots based on InP-substrates with low surface density and a fabrication process for photonic crystals on the same material system was developed.
