Die Ableitung von Elektroretinogrammen (ERGs) und Visuell Evozierten Potentialen (VEPs) wurde bisher abhängig von einer Stromversorgung durchgeführt. Das Gerät „Ephios Eph-01“ ist in der Lage, ERGs und Blitz-VEPs ohne Stromanschluss abzuleiten und ist somit jederzeit mobil einsetzbar. In vorliegender Arbeit wurde das Gerät auf die Reproduzierbarkeit der Messergebnisse anhand von 20 Probanden (ERG) bzw. 10 Probanden (VEP) überprüft. Anschließend wurde ein Vergleich der Ergebnisse zwischen dem „Ephios Eph-01“ und einem im klinischen Alltag etablierten Gerät, dem „Toennies Multiliner Vision 1.5“, gezogen, sowie die Akzeptanz seitens der Probanden und die Praktikabilität untersucht. Als Ergebnis konnte festgestellt werden, dass das „Ephios Eph-01“ reproduzierbare Ergebnisse generiert. Im Vergleich beider Geräte zeigte sich ein signifikanter Zusammenhang der Latenzzeiten der VEPs. Die Auswertung der ERGs erbrachte kein einheitliches Ergebnis.     «

Up to now the recording of electroretinograms (ERGs) and visual evoked potentials (VEPs) is running with a connection to mains power. The instrument “Ephios Eph-01” is able to record ERGs and flash-VEPs without any power supply, which makes it portable at any time. In this study, the instrument was tested in terms of reproducibility of the results based on 20 subjects (ERG) and 10 subjects (VEP). Subsequently, a comparison between the results of “Ephios Eph-01” and the “Toennies Multiliner Vision 1.5”, one of the established instruments in the clinical routine, was drawn. Furthermore, the acceptance of the subjects and the feasibility was examined. As a result, it was shown that the “Ephios Eph-01” is generating reproducible results.
