Der Übergang von einer stationären in eine ambulante Psychotherapie stellt einen entscheidenden Schnittpunkt im therapeutischen Prozess dar. In der vorliegenden Studie wurde dieser Übergang an einem kompletten Jahrgang einer Klinik für psychosomatische Medizin untersucht. Die Befragung erfolgte retrospektiv mit Hilfe eines Fragebogens. In den Ergebnissen zeigt sich, dass die Qualität der Beziehung zum stationären Therapeuten und dessen Empfehlungs-, Beratungs- und Vermittlungspraxis einen entscheidenden Einfluss auf die Phase des Übergangs und eine weiterführende ambulante Therapie haben.      «

The crossing from being an inpatient to being an outpatient has to be taken as a most important milestone in psychotherapy of psychosomatic patients. In this study all patients who have been admitted to hospital throughout one year have been questioned. This was done in retrospect using a questionnaire. The results show the high influence of the relation between patient and therapist as well as the letters practice of recommendation, counseling and procurement for the phase of crossing and the acceptance of an ambulant psychotherapy.      «
