In der vorliegenden retrospektiven Arbeit wurde untersucht, in wie fern sich ein bereits vorhandenes Zweitmalignom auf die präoperativen Befunde, auf die Histopathologie des resezierten Prostatakarzinoms, auf dessen Progression sowie auf das Überleben der betroffenen Patienten auswirkt. Untersucht wurden insgesamt 1724 Patienten, wovon bei 160 (9,28%) anamnestisch bereits ein Malignom bekannt war. Es konnten keine signifikanten Unterschiede hinsichtlich Histopathologie und Tumorstadium nachgewiesen werden. Auch das Gesamtüberleben der Patienten mit Zweitmalignom unterscheidet sich nicht von Patienten ohne ein Zweitmalignom in der Anamnese. Die prostatakarzinomspezifische Mortalität war in beiden Gruppen mit weniger als 2% identisch.      «

The aim of this retrospective study was to find out how an already existing secondary malignoma affects the preoperative findings, the histopathology of the resected prostate cancer, its progression as well as the survival rate of the patients concerned. The study included overall 1724 patients, with 160 (9,28%) of whom a malignoma was already known anamnestically. No significant differences regarding histopathology and tumour stadium could be found. Nor does the overall survival of patients with a secondary malignoma distinguish itself from patients without a secondary malignoma in the anamnesis. The prostate cancer specific mortality in both groups was - with less than 2% - identical.     «
