The biography of the Psychiatrist Professor Max Mikorey (1899-1977) illustrates by example the history of the German Medical Psychiatry from the early 1920s until the late 1960s. Coming from an ideological background of social darwinism and racial cleansing, German Psychiatrists during the Third Reich initiated and accomplished the so-called Euthanasia and forced Sterilization of hundreds of thousands of patients. Post 1945 they denied their participation in the national socio-political crimes and their breaking of the hippocratic oath and astoundingly continued without remorse and unaccountability.
