Microptic methods in combination with fast image processing, is becoming ever more important in the field of biophysical research. In the technical part of this work, an image processing software designed to the needs of biophysics was developed. For the measurement of absolute distances between substrates and objects in the nanometer range, the reflection interference microscopy with two wavelengths was realised for the first time. With the help of these techniques, different cell models could be examined: Vesicles made of lipid membranes with additives as models for a closed cell membrane, hyluronan coupled specifically to a membrane as a model for the extracellular matrix and actin networks as a model of the cytoskelleton.
