- Gegenstand der Arbeit ist der Einfluß der repetitiven transkraniellen Magnetstimulation (rTMS) auf stereotype Zeichenbewegungen bei Patienten mit M. Parkinson im Vergleich zu einem Kollektiv gesunder Probanden. Es konnte ein positiver, stimulationsüberdauernder Effekt der fokalen rTMS des primärmotorischen Handareals mit einer Frequenz von 5 Hz und einer Stimulationsintensität von 90 % der individuellen motorischen Schwelle in Ruhe auf die Bradykinese bei Patienten mit M. Parkinson nachgewiesen... »
- Translated abstract:
- The subject of the PhD thesis is the influence of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) on "open-loop" drawing movements for patients with Parkinson's disease when compared to a number of normal subjects. A lasting beneficial effect of the focal 5 Hz rTMS upon the motor hand area on bradykinesia can be shown for patients with Parkinson's disease. The stimulus intensity was set 10 % below motor threshold at rest.
