The following paper examines the detection potential of different methods for determining N-Acyl-L-homoserinelactones. Furthermore, the influence of selected cultivation parameters on the production of these molecules was analysed. The combined use of various biosensors with thin-layer chromatography allowed an exact description of the different N-Acyl-L-homoserinlactones, that were produced by opportunistic humanpathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates, representative Burkholderia cepacia strains and various rhizosphere bacteria.
