Abstract:
Motion can markedly affect the image quality acquired by handheld multispectral optoacoustic-ultrasound (MS-OPUS) hybrid systems. Since images at different wavelengths are acquired sequentially, tissue and operator movement can affect the spectra assigned to each volume element (voxels) in the images.
