- This dissertation synthesizes insights from the current literature on innovation team composition to establish a foundation for adopting a configurational perspective on how team composition influences innovation outcomes. It applies and enhances set-theoretic methods to investigate the complex interplay of team composition factors and uses the clean energy sector as a topical research context to explore specific team configurations associated with particularly impactful innovations.

- Diese Dissertation vereint aktuelle Erkenntnisse, um eine konfigurative Perspektive auf den Einfluss der Teamzusammensetzung auf Innovationsergebnisse zu schaffen. Mit erweiterten set-theoretischen Methoden wird das komplexe Zusammenspiel von Faktoren der Teamzusammensetzung analysiert. Der Bereich emissionsfreier Energietechnologien dient als empirischer Kontext zur Identifikation von Teamkonfigurationen, die mit besonders bahnbrechenden Innovationen verbunden sind.
