Abstract:
This paper presents the derivation of object-specific traffic load models, using the investigation of the bridge “Donau-Wald-Brücke” near Winzer as an example. Due to unsatisfactory results from recalculations, a structural monitoring campaign was launched, involving both short-term and long-term measurements. The goal was to obtain adjusted coefficients for the verification of the ultimate limit state (ULS) and fatigue design. The paper discusses the chosen approach and presents some key result...     »
