- Es gibt eine Vielzahl biologischer und synthetischer Netze, die als stabilisierende Hilfsmittel in der plastisch-rekonstruktiven Brustchirurgie verwendet werden. In dieser multizentrischen, retrospektiven Studie wurde das Outcome von 148 Fällen analysiert, bei denen das teilresorbierbare Polypropylen-Netz SeragynBR implantiert wurde. Es zeigte sich eine zu anderen Netzen vergleichbare Rate an schweren Komplikationen und reconstructive failures, sodass es für die Brustchirurgie geeignet ist.

- In breast reconstruction, there are different stabilizing materials such as synthetic meshes and acellular dermal matrices. In this retrospective, multicenter study, the outcome of 148 cases of women who had breast reconstruction with the SeragynBR soft mesh was analyzed. The rates of major complications and of the reconstructive failure are comparable to those of other synthetic and biological meshes. Therefore, SeragynBR mesh is suitable for implant-based breast reconstruction.
