With the use of Visual Programming Languages (VPL) it is possible to efficiently create parametric models, which allow miscellaneous mathematical evaluations. In order to find the best so- lution for a set of parameters, optimizations techniques play an important role in the todays workflow of engineers and architects. It uses different Optimizations strategies to find the best possible solution, respectively an approximated optimum. In the end, the user can visually explore the different stages of the optimization process, and if necessary, change the specifications of the chosen strategy.
