I have developed the wave-function version of the equation-of-motion phase-matching approach for the efficient calculation of optical four-wave-mixing signals. As molecular system, I consider a general electron-vibration coupling Hamiltonian. The application of the method is illustrated for model systems with strong electronic inter-state couplings. In particular, I have performed the first computational simulations of two-dimensional electronic spectra for a model system with a conical intersection.
