Abstract:
LEIKO is a high voltage connector made of aluminium for electric and hybrid electric vehicles. Substituting copper wires with aluminium wires leads to lighter and more cost efficient automotive car wiring harnesses. Due to the material properties of aluminium compared to copper a new concept for a high voltage connector made of aluminium for aluminium wires was developed.
