Abstract:
Diese Arbeit zeigt, dass das rekombinante Erythropoetin Darbepoetin alpha (DPO) die Biotransformation (Phase I und II) primärer humaner Hepatozyten beeinflusst. Während einige Enzyme wie CYP1A1/2 oder CYP3A4 durch DPO in ihrer Aktivität gehemmt werden, können andere wie CYP2C8/9 induziert werden.
Die hier dargestellten Ergebnisse ermöglichen die Vorhersage möglicher Interaktionen zwischen DPO und anderen gleichzeitig verabreichten Medikamenten.
Translated abstract:
This study shows the effect of a recombinant Erythropoetin Darbepoetin alpha (DPO) to phase I and II enzymes in the biotransformation of primary human hepatocytes. Some enzymes such as CYP1A1/2 or CYP3A4 were increased in their activity whereas CYP2C8/9 was decreased during stimulation.
These results suggest the possibility of interactions between DPO and other medications, which are administered at the same time.
