Abstract:
This paper presents and evaluates a multi-fidelity approach for the calculation of lifting surface aerodynamics in a conceptual mission-based design process for civil unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). In general, aerodynamic computations significantly influence the final aircraft design.
