The construction industry is not spared by the digitalization transition. This transition should be welcomed as it will allow major efficiency gains by helping to coordinate the numerous stakeholders workand raising the level of productivity.Especially the execution phasefaces a number of challenges due to planmodification and lack of preparation before execution. Moreover,time pressure for all constructionparties to execute and monitor their works has been increasing. Therefore,it is important to have a clear overviewof all the subcontractors and their tasks to insure a smooth spatial and chronological coordination between them.In the present thesis, the relevant principles and instruments of the construction execution phasewill be describedbefore presenting and developing a digital solution,whichdelivers the requiredinformation to subcontractors in order toprocess their work effectively. With this solution the construction workerisable to execute his tasks without having to meetwith the site manager. In the presented tool, a construction worker has direct access to a selection of available tasks and the respective rooms they are located in. For a better overview a graphicpresentation of the room’s work status will be enabled in the floorplans. Aweb-based application is used by the subcontractors to map and recordtheirongoing construction tasks in orderto facilitate the construction sequence.
