Die Dissertation untersucht Perzeption und Produktion von Gesten bei linkshirngeschädigten Patienten mit Apraxie. Die Studie führt Tests zu Pantomime, Hand-, Fingerstellungen, Aphasie und den FAT an 50 Probanden durch. Für Pantomime und Fingerstellungen kann erfolgreiche Perzeption einer Geste als Voraussetzung für ihre Produktion bestätigt werden. Schließlich wird anhand von Einzelfallanalysen die These Liepmann’s eines posterior-anterior Stroms der Handlungskontrolle von Gesten diskutiert.
Translated abstract:
The dissertation examines perception and production of gestures in patients with apraxia and damage in the left hemisphere of the brain. The study conducts tests for pantomime, hand and finger postures, aphasia and FAT on 50 probands. Successful perception of gestures can be confirmed as an requirement for their production. Finally, Liepmann’s hypothesis of posterior-anterior control of gestures is discussed with the help of case studies.
