Die Arthrodese des Sprunggelenkes ist Mittel der Wahl bei therapieresistenter Schmerzsymptomatik. Ungeachtet der einfachen chirurgischen Technik der Sprunggelenksarthrodese ist der Eingriff häufig mit Komplikationen behaftet. Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit war es die Rate der nicht durchbauten Arthrodesen zu quantifizieren und Risikofaktoren zu benennen. Es zeigte sich eine vergleichsweise hohe Rate mit fehlendem knöchernen Durchbau. Dies scheint mit der Anzahl an Risikofaktoren zusammenzuhängen. Außerdem zeichnet sich bei einzelner Betrachtung der verschiedenen Risikofaktoren eine unterschiedlich starke negative Gewichtung in Bezug auf den erfolgreichen, knöchernen Durchbau ab.     «

Arthrodesis of the ankle is the method of choice for therapy-resistant pain symptoms. Regardless of the simple surgical technique of ankle arthrodesis, this intervention is often fraught with complications. The aim of the present study was to quantify the rate of non-union arthrodesis and to identify risk factors. There was a relatively high rate with a lack of bony union. This seems to be related to the number of risk factors. In addition, varying degrees of negative influence with respect to the successful bony union were found in individual consideration of the various risk factors.     «
