In order to ensure longevity and high level of system availability operators carry out maintenance activities. However, these activities are limited up to a certain point e. g. due to expiring system components. Therefore, retrofitting is an economic and ecological method of choice to extend the lifecycle of as/rs. This paper presents a methodical approach to support operators in the process of evaluating the urgency of retrofits and preparing such activities in advance.     «
