The state of the art is looking to provide a global introduction to BIM-technology for years to come. In order to harness the digital structure optimally, it has to be utilized for the entirety of its life cycle. This thesis applies at that point. Initially the reader will obtain a fundamental overview of BIM, constuction progress scheduling and the latest construction methods. In the next section an approach to the establishment of a 4D-animation and a 4D-simulation on a real construction project will be made.
