2-capture pilot plant in Niederaussem a test programme for CO
2 capture from flue gas under real power plant conditions was realised with aqueous Monoethanolamin as solvent for CO
2. The developed evaluation procedure regarding the performance of the capture plant and the process, the stability, operational, emission and corrosion behaviour of the CO
2-solvent as well as the validation of process simulation tools can be used for the study of other CO
2-solvents and different process variants.
