Abstract:: In dieser Studie sollen drei im Alltag des HNO-Arztes übliche Untersuchungsmethoden zur Prüfung des Vestibularapparates miteinander verglichen werden. Zum einen die thermische Prüfung, zum anderen die vibrationsinduzierte Reizung sowie die Untersuchung mittels Kopfimpulstest. Die Wertigkeit der einzelnen Untersuchungsmethoden wurde hinterfragt. Es sollte auch geklärt werden, ob die aufwändige thermische Prüfung durch die Kombination von Kopfimpulstest und vibrationsinduziertem Nystagmus ersetzt werden kann. Es wurden 10 Probanden und 120 Patienten mit einer vestibulären Störung untersucht. «
