Die Trypsintoleranz konnte durch Vorinfusion von Aprotinin bzw. Foy 305 geringfügig erhöht werden und nur durch Gabe von Heparin um das 3-fache verbessert werden. Die heparinisierten Kaninchen starben bei Verabreichung der letalen Trypsindosis an den Folgen eines hypovolämischen Schocks mit Aufbrauch der physiologischen Inhibitoren Antiplasmin, AntithrombinIII u. a-2-Makroglobulin. Eine entscheidende Verbesserung wurde bei gleichzeitiger Gabe von Heparin mit einem Proteaseninhibitor erreicht. So konnte die Letalitätsrate von 73% durch Heparin und Aprotinin auf 27% bzw. durch Heparin und Foy 305 auf 17% gesenkt werden.     «

It was experimentally investigated how far heparin and the protease inhibitors aprotinin or Foy 305 can highten the tolerance of trypsin. When the infused volume of trypsin increased, rabbits died of the consequences of an activation of coagulation, although there were physiological inhibitors in their blood. The tolerance of trypsin could be modestly raised by preinfusion of aprotinin or Foy 305, and only by the application of heparin it was improved three times over. By dispensing the lethal dose of trypsin, rabbits, which had received heparin, died as a result of hypovolemic shock combined with the cosumption of their physiological inhibitors antiplasmin, antithromin III and a-2-macroglobulin. A significant amelioration was atteined by the simultaneous application of heparin and a proteinase inhibitor. So the letality rate of 73% could be reduced to 27% dispensing heparin and aprotinin and even to 17% in case of heparin and Foy 305.     «
